2023 Off-Season Basketball - Outside UVa

Speaking of Vandross, is he short or average height? Hard to tell if Vandross is actually short or just works in a profession where being normal sized makes you look short

According to the internet, he is 5-9, which is my height, which means he is average height. But, yes, posing next to tall people doesn’t help.

(can we please run the timeline where we had DJ Burns? That would be awesome)

We need Vandross on the podcast. How he ended up on UVA staff/did he have connections with someone or did he just interview and blow Tony away? Also I think he’s a Brewster Academy alum (I remember seeing their twitter wish Vandross happy birthday). Also explains his northeast connections.

DJ took the wall art commands very seriously…at least one of them

Was he on staff with JWilly somewhere? Or they just knew each other from recruiting? Something like that

Boston University and Charlotte (both long stints ) before joining our staff. Maybe coaching against Williford when he was at American?

Wasn’t JWilly at BU, under Wolff?

They were on the same staff at BU.

I said potentially. Autry said the two are practicing really well together.

Not fully on topic but the thought of March Madness gives me goosebumps. I’m so excited.

Both

This was an awesome video, though perhaps it’s setting me up to be annoyed in the future when CBB fans start talking about drop coverage like it’s the “right” way to defend ball screens.

Mike Tobey watching this salivating at what could have been for him in college.
