Probably a grad transfer, right? He’s played 4 seasons of college ball. Brutal for Rutgers, they had what looked like a tourney team for next season and they really needed his offense.
Lots of huffing on twitter from the Rutgers side over Spencer. Late tampering/purchase from Georgetown I assume since the Hoya people are the ones responding to it all.
This stuff is going to slowly drive more and more fans away as these situations come to light. I still think most fans don’t completely get what’s going on. Most of it is handled in just enough of a secretive/vague way not to grab a lot of attention. That’s the saving grace right now. For the older fans it’s pretty toxic.
I imagine there are gonna be some tense handshake lines all across the country next season…
Too bad they’re no longer in the same conference, that would be a juicy handshake situation. Georgetown remaking themselves on the fly is interesting. I assume they’ll need a little bit of time to get good, but who knows. They certainly have a lot of different players next season.

Is this like when college coaches flirt with going to the NFL or NBA to get a pay raise?
Edit: some reason can’t embed tweets, but Nigel Pack withdrawing from draft
Draft is a different beast. You wouldn’t know from this glowing tweet that Murrell was 43% from 2 and 33% from 3 during his college career at Ole Miss:
Jeff Goodman is always implying that Givony is on the take from agents, and Givony’s combine week tweets don’t do anything to dispel that notion. For sure.
Ok, I would argue Air Force has a little bit of a built in advantage when it comes to Skydiving.

Also, @jazznutUVA, how did Air Force not win “flying”?
Dunno… but if you are going to lose Flying to any school it is Embry Riddle… not sure if you are aware of that school. A lot of my fellow Air Force colleagues went there.
Without knowing the exact criteria for winning a “Flying” national championship, Embry-Riddle is an aeronautical university. I knew quite a few guys from my Air Force time who went there.
And most that go to USAFA don’t end up becoming pilots.
What does a NIL deal look like for Dairy Cattle Judging, I wonder?
The shocker of the year has to be Pitt taking the Cricket championship right?
OSU winning Bollywood Infusion Dance proves @WFS_HOO s Ohio thing
Some questions are best left unanswered…like the incentives associated with possessing this skillset.
As a USAFA recruiter in my current Air Force capacity… 65% of Commissionees out of USAFA go on to rated career fields (pilot, navigator, ABM, bombardier)… so I would say the majority do become flyers.
Last year’s class was 68% rated.
I had a cousin play sprint football at Penn… they were awful not surprising Navy could take that one.
