The woman on the far left is definitely chanting “throw-the-stool
throw the stool!” WWF style
For those who want to hear about K2 process … seems the small campus played a large role?
Hmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmm nope. Not going to do it to my self.
I didn’t realize NC Central’s campus was small. Also, doesn’t ratface’s grandson chauffeur you anyway?
It’s funny. I actually also went to a college with a very compact campus with plenty of stuff to do within 2 blocks. (Movies, Grocery stores, 15 food places, etc.) I had visited various “beautiful” campuses that had lots of greenery and architecture but that appealed to me not at all as a student needing to get to class and the basketball facilities.
Gym was a 2 minute slow walk from the dorm as was the dining hall and 90% of classes less than a 5 min walk.
Little duke energy?
Duke technically has one of the largest campuses in the country
That kid is going to get so much hate as a Dukie lol wait until twitter finds out he has ‘II’ in the middle of his name instead of being junior like a normal family
haha…It’s one thing to get let off because nobody wants to punish schools for things that are kinda legal now. But to troll afterwards takes stones.
Bill Self is such a POS
Fact
@BDragon - Dude… I thought you were going to the wedding with me… I have proof below…
LOL Oh man you’re right. Got me there
Those KenPom poll results out now (can we talk about how dystopian the H.U.M.A.N. acronym sounds?) @haney @AdventiveQuasar
https://kenpom.com/human_poll.php
Virginia clocking in at 29. Feels about right to me, a lowercase human.
Sounds like something an AI would say.
“How do you do, fellow humans?”
Interesting. It’s pretty similar to other human polls I’ve seen, with a few outliers:
- 6 - Gonzaga. Seems high, but maybe folks just assume they’ll be good b/c they been top 5 or so for years
- 20 - FAU. Lower than others, but I think 20 is probably more accurate.
- 40 - St John’s. Lower than I’ve seen. Maybe fans are skeptical in Pitino’s first year? Where pundits assume he’ll be good?
(and yes, the name is very dystopian)
Here are Ken’s thoughts. Interesting that he says FAU was almost his sole motivation for doing this.
On the ACC front, the Florida St optimism and Notre Dame extreme optimism stood out to me. I wonder if ND in particular benefited from the “well they are a power conference team, they’re probably better than the best Sun Belt team” kind of brand-name approximation of team strength.
Yeah, I think so. There are some calcified opinions in this: ND is gonna be terrible, but I don’t think most people realize. BC might be more like top 100, but nobody has really paid attention. But Louisville being terrible is very well know. Lol!
