I may very well be wrong but I think the 2024 PG UVa gets won’t be Perry or Bliss. I think Bennett offers Jennings and gets him.

Williford I assume in Philly. All the good DC teams are up htere this week. Gonzaga St. John’s Sidwell Maret. There must be some stupid rule that keeps them from playing at the DeMatha event. There’s a lot of stupidity like that with these June periods.

Yeah, its the weirdest thing. I respect Nova enormously as a program, both what they’ve accomplished and how they’ve historically run things. But I’ve always found their on-line fans to be surprisingly annoying. Not like Duke/UNC/NC State top-tier annoying, but still much more so than I expected.
I remember chatting with some Nova fans online after they beat us in that 2017 game. They kept going on about how they’d won 5v8 because of how one-sided the reffing had been and everything was obviously stacked against Nova. That’s the game in which Nova wasn’t called for a foul in the last 14 minutes of the game. I pointed it out, and they said it was obviously the case, Nova was great at playing aggressive D w/o fouling, and if they didn’t shoot 10 more FTs than the other team it meant the refs hated Nova (Nova outshot UVA 24-3 in FTAs).
For whatever reason, I feel like I’ve seen a lot of that from them over the years.

I can’t quite wrap my head around anyone thinking WE had an officiating advantage in the 2017 Villanova game. That game rivaled Duke and Dean-era UNC for me in terms of frustration.
