Bringing the Taine talk from the late recruiting thread here. I’m curious about whether he is more impactful on offense as a shooter or driver. I agree with @DavetheWave that his mechanics look compact and repeatable, we just haven’t seen enough to know what he looks like at higher volumes. I think if you squint, you can see some potential as a driver: he’s got a solid frame for burrowing into a guy and creating space for himself at the rim, not sure if his handles are there enough for that to be a big part of his game. Maybe he has a RS-Soph Devon kind of season? I think that would be a big win for him developmentally.
