I love seeing these guys come back to the program… Family.

There’s a couple of seconds where BB is next to Jay and he looks tiny in comparison.

We’re still pissed about the No-entry for Willie Dersch that gave Wojo the winning bucket (so bad the ref got suspended); and also the non-travel on Grayson Allen.
But it’s Duke so it’s ok to hate.

Isaac Trotter at 247 did summaries of all the transfers joining ACC men’s basketball rosters this fall:
Measured but optimistic projections for our four guys. Solid recap of the inbounds around the league, including a few I didn’t realize had NCAA waiver requests still pending.

Hey there.
Appreciate the idea and will look at the tape for fun but I think I’m going to do a couple of segments going into our defense/offenses. Get asked for those a lot and a good amount of the video work on that is probably already done just have to go through it again for the best examples and maybe pull some more historical stuff.
I don’t really love getting into too much detail on HS stuff for a few reasons but I won’t rule it out long term. Maybe watching this game will inspire me for the future. If it is something I start to be asked for more regularly I could see it being something I look at - especially in a light incoming transfer season.

A little Basquiat to the hair game. Needs to do the rest but I dig it.

In all seriousness though, watching and thinking “are we not gonna see him shoot?” only for it to end with him swishing a lookaway 3 might be be what powers me through August

Taine’s like don’t forget about me. I am so curious about Taine. I loved his clips even against new zealand competition, and in flashes he has looked really good in his role (Iowa)
Taine Leon and Gertrude. The big unknowns/x factors. I wish Taine would get Groves minutes at the 4 since we hear Groves is streaky anyways and not really know for his rebounding. Both in 4 guard lineups and also if the other team has a slower 6’7/6’8 wing who is moreso there to stretch the floor (like Taine doing really well again Jimmy Boeheim where he could score against the zone and then guard Jimmy. Not so much guard Buddy Boeheim. Somehow was adequate defender on NBA Murray on Iowa).

I dont think Taine is as bad or limited as he has shown. Just slow adjustment to US + not that comfortable with sparse playing time on the court. He absolutely has shown flashes. The poor 3pt shooting in FIBA though was a slight concern. Basically TBD on taine. He could be a real winner of UVA losing the veterans we were maybe a little to overzealous in playing heavy minutes.
