Zay is the same height as Darius Thompson lol if Bond can fill out like Zay did he’ll be fine in the post. Jah is just a “gamer” in the same vein that Westbrook and Jamal Murray from Denver are. Their games aren’t “picture-perfect-pretty” like a Devin Booker is, BUT you can just roll the ball out on the floor and they will “take over” games, due to their natural instincts, body control and their *Will to make plays.

The screenshot of the different frequencies of offensive play-types from the past 3 years in that thread is awesome, tells you so much. There’s a sneaky little uptick on pick-and-roll usage that was there last season, and I would bet on that continuing to increase.

Is it sneaky that we have never won a tournament game since 2019 … cause I hear about it all time. I’d be curious how many of 32 teams that won at least one tourney game in 2019, haven’t won a game since. I’d imagine that list is way bigger than 1.

This is probably true. On the other side of that, would be interesting to know how many teams that won a national championship failed to win another tournament game in the following 4 years. Wonder if we have any company there.

I was assuming UConn would qualify after their 2014 championship but they snuck in a 1st round win in the 8 vs 9 game in 2016.
In a way, it’s 3 seasons given that the 2020 tournament was cancelled. And Florida didn’t win any tournament games in 2008, 2009, or 2010.
