Those are three very different players lol

His NBA stock really comes down to his outside shot. If it develops, he can be an elite 3 and d type player IMO

Most those mentioned above are good shooters

I think that Harris’ jump shot form looks so much better than Kihei’s. With a good base, it’s a lot easier for the reps to produce a better result, let alone better selection. I wouldn’t be shocked if Harris shot 35+% from 3 but I will be shocked if his % is less than 32.

Jared Vanderbilt, Jaden McDaniels, Herb Jones

Herb stayed 3 years at bama? McDaniels and Vanderbilt were 5* OAD types already.

NC is one step away from allowing high school athletes to profit from NIL.

The North Carolina High School Athletic Association’s board of directors approved a measure permitting athletes to profit from use of their name, image and likeness (NIL) during its spring meeting Wednesday.

As it should. The best players already leave their home high schools anyway to play for better programs

So let me guess … you are all in for rec ball too? Or how bout we just sell our kids out like corner street whores … expose them to the corruption and greed as early as possible. Is that what it takes to satisfy your craving for entertainment? At some point we have to address the difference between adults and children …

Disagree about him being undersized

This feels completely unnecessary. Haven’t high school kids always been allowed to earn money? Why now put a label on it and make it political.

Also like 90% of the players in the vhsl this does not apply to unless they are getting an NIL for Georges supermarket

Honest question, do you think minors should be allowed to earn money and have jobs in other entertainment fields, like acting in TV, movies or commercials, or modeling, or playing music as a solo act or in a band? Are those perfectly legal and relatively commonplace industries any less seedy for minors than professional sports?

I made cash off of my classical music abilities in high school, performing teaching lessons, and nobody ever called it being pawned off like a whore

I worked all types of jobs while playing sports, in HS, and I’m sure I got several of them simply because I was a well known athlete in my town and people liked me. Coached basketball, taught music lessons etc. No one was exploiting me, I was happy to get some cash.

prior to turning 18 I worked construction, at Cinnabon, at Dining Halls…all for compensation. I don’t really see why it should be different if it’s sports

Seems like a fine thing, as long as it is handled with care, a lot of education for parents and students, and pretty strict regulation. Much like the other youth jobs people here have noted.

It is baffling to me how parents want they kids to grow up so fast. I know some things and I can tell you in 95 percent the cases being a kid is way better than being an grown up
