I’ll see you and raise you.
I think those guys may be Mountaineers
The vegan Hulk Hogan is fantastic
On the one hand, this is the kind of list I would make, on the other hand, I wonder if you ever get any real work done
I did real work at an old job. 3/10. Do not recommend. (This is a joke - kinda)
Vote for Malik:
Didn’t we already win this vote? Is this a recurring thing?
This is the semi-finalist vote.
So guys, how invested is everyone in Saturday’s game?
The PTSD I feel from years of losing to Tech has me a little guarded when it comes to our matchup. I’ll say I’m not invested and that it’s just two bad teams, but I’ll no doubt be reeled in come kick off.
I absolutely hate losing to the Hokies
I grew up in Blacksburg and I love that area, but I want Virginia to whoop VPI in every athletic match until the end of time - GO HOOS
A win would mean they don’t go to a bowl and we finish the year off with some very positive momentum. It’s not a be all end all for Tony’s tenure but winning his first game against our main rival as a HC here would be a major step in getting the fanbase and potentially some donors behind him in support.
It’s also a very winnable game, not one I’d put money on but they’re an incredibly mediocre team. We have holes too obviously but it’s in Scott and we’ve at least taken strides to look better on both sides of the ball.
I don’t care that it’s bad football. I want to beat that other school in everything. EVERYTHING.
About a month ago, I saw a segment on the news about testing self-driving cars around 395 that used a truck from VTech. My immediate thought was “the test would’ve had better results if they used the UVa self-driving race car, dammit.”
So, yeah, I’m pretty invested in Saturday’s result.
Links for context:
When they come up with self-tipping cows, watch out.
Self-driving cars are dumb, but needing them for the expressway is even dumber. We figured out “autonomous” straight line transport a long time ago, and it emits far less carbon
And they said a chosen one should lead them
Still diesel south of DC though….
At any rate, F VPI!
I’m still pissed that they stormed the field at Scott Stadium the last time it was played. Gross.
No doubt that Hokie fans will be audible on TV. Wishing I was not at the in-laws so I could attend.
Not at all. Zero. Doing my best to maintain that attitude, but I doubt it will survive kickoff.
My assumption is that we’ll show up and sleepwalk and bumble our way to another loss and have obnoxious hokies harass us and act like they won a national championship. That’s pretty much the formula the last 24 years.
This game is important to them, it’s really the basis for any meaning to their lives. Our teams usually play like they have something else they’d rather be doing.
