I generally expect a movie where we have the lead and the chance to close it out and then all hell breaks loose.

I want to give Elliott the benefit of the doubt. He seems to be able to motivate the guys to play hard, albeit with mistakes in execution.

Our issue for the next decade is UVa is damned if you lose because the Hokie faithful can just say how much worse we areā¦ where if we win, they just point at how this is one of only a few wins in the past few decadesā¦ we need a proper 3 to 4 year win streak for it to stop.

Sadly you nailed it right there. The only way to change the narrative is to go on some sort of a streak, or at least show consistent wins in the rivalry 3 out of 5 or something like that.
To @4547Lambeth I have no doubt the Virginia boys will be up for it. You could feel the emotions coming off the field from the team on Saturday against Duke. It means something to them a whole lot. Thatās a credit to the staff to keep them that dialed in through everything that has happened.

Love Coach Tony Elliott. Even with our record i have seen a change in culture. He led us through our darkest days with pure dignity and class. I want this victory on Saturday over Va Tech for him. He has earned itā¦
