You overestimate me. I said no because the new coach may be more willing to bring in some random mid Major kids that I have no idea about. And will probably be able to pull 1-2 kids that arenāt obvious portal entries right now

We may have our wish lists, but we have to remember that, unless they are grad transfers or first years, the chances are very slim that admissions will take enough credits so that theyāll come here.
Sophomores too - Saunders. I also think itās worth baking in the chance of eligibility changing to 5 years, which should open up some wiggle room, assumedly.

Of course he will. Heās predicted 185 of the last 7 portal guys weāve gotten the last couple seasons and I expect him to maintain that pace.

Heās a new Jersey guy so heās probably going to end up at St Johns with Rick Pitino.
Also he has two years at Providence, and 1 year at GW so it might be hard credit wise, but maybe make the ā5th year rule so two years leftā argument?

Theyāre definitely automated to some extent, because the videos at times come out minutes after a player announces theyāre transferring.

Friday epiphany on the evening of our battle with the Hokies:
Blake Buchanan has a lot of value if they pass the 5 year rule. In normal times he would be a redshirt freshman playing 5-10 minutes behind the veteran big on the roster.
Really do hope we keep Buchanan even if its not clear if he starts or not in the new regime. Him with 3 years left to develop will help with keeping some consistency in our front court

Adding Rowan Braumbaugh to the list.
Washington DC kid. Committed to Texas under Beard and redshirted. Transferred to Georgetown and had an okay first year on a bad Georgetown team. Transferred down to Tulane (with Kaleb Banks whose also on the portal wishlist) and has had a solid year.
I also remember the tweet around his highschool recruitment with a scout watching him and talking about how Rowan reminded him of āVillanova and Virginia point guardsā.
Also an epiphany was that Blue Cain might have some value. His stats are okay but heās also primed for an upper class man jump. Might be good value (trying to find the next Hunter Sallis or even Elijah Saunders where the first two year stats are okay are nothing note worthy and they just need a better opportunity along with natural growth).
I mean that also being saidā¦ like fuck value amiritie? $1 million for one offensive lineman and $750k for TJ Power whoās previous year warranted nothing close to that?
