Looks like VT whiffed on their top candidates and are going with the LB coach from the Arizona Cardinals. Their fans are taking it well.
Also Watkins tried to spout some BS about how their first choice was JIM KNOWLES, and if OSU didn’t go on their run there would’ve been mutual interest. Unbelievable.

There might’ve been mutual interest (doubtful he leaves OSU for VT, but whatever), but VT wasn’t going to pay the 3.1 mil a year for 3 years that PSU gave him.

We’ve got to win at least 5 of those home games and then at least 1-2 of the @NCState @Cal @UNC group.
And none of the games are completely unwinnable like @Clemson and @ND were last season. Our toughest games are @Louisville or @Duke with FSU as a wild card?

I’ll say this. Playing VT at home after a bye week while they’re playing Miami the week before and @FSU the week before that sets us up in as good a position as possible to win that game.
