Maybe so, but I still havenât forgiven him for his stupid unnecessary roughness penalty that derailed what could have been the game-winning drive in our 1995 loss in Chapel Hill. And, yes, I can hold a grudge for 30 years against somebody I never met. Iâm Irish. Sue me.

My grandfather, a Chapel Hill alum, made a $10 bet with me, still a student in Charlottesville at the time, for that game.
He framed that $10 bill with an engraved plate with the game score and the bet, and hung it in his library for 12 years. So yeah, Iâm still salty, too.

Vegas doesnât think much of our coaching staff if they think with an easier schedule and more talent we canât manage one more win. I donât think much of our coaching staff and am fairly pessimistic but even I think we can manage one more win!

Typically within a half game one way or the other.
I think last yr the official line was 4.5 or 5.5
The yr before it was 3.5.
Hoos won 5 and 3 games in those seasons

Honestly that 5.5-6.5 line is a safe bet for the majority of programs. Theres a few of the blue bloods who need it higher and a cple bottom dwellers who need it lower. But most teams reaching 6 or 7 wins is the difference maker
