Is that not what Saunders is supposed to be?

Nah - he’s way too undersized to be anywhere near the same player as Gill… he’s more like a face up Gardner

Did you leave a ā€œlegacyā€ there?

Is BOND related

ā€œI fought the law and the law wonā€ We’ve all had youthful indescretions.

I feel for the generation coming up now where those indiscretions are captured on video and leave a digital paper trail that follow you long past the statute of limitations. Not to say actions shouldn’t have consequences, but on the flip side there should be some degree of forgiveness for young stupidity that doesn’t actually cause lasting material harm, and sometimes I wonder if today’s generation isn’t going to have that grace.

Only this was very lopsided unfair non fight in my opinion

Jalen Warley commits to Gonzaga. Follows an FSU assistant coach that is on staff there now

Need the first J-Willy show so that J-Willy can turn the tables and ask about this:

Are you talking about Saunders? They’re the same size… Saunders is listed 240, Gill 230. I’m just giving / taking a few for Saunders.

Also Saunders is good on the block… they need to give him more opportunities there. A lot more.

Gill legit 6-8 with bounce
Saunders legit 6-6

Sorry if someone posted already

Tampering?

Not necessarily disagreeing with this (I think he’s got good potential and is as good of an option as we have to do anything in the paint), but he’s only really shown it against bad teams, right? How many times did he get blocked down low in the last two games? Not all his fault but he didn’t have too many moves that seemed to work against bigger more athletic guys.

How would that work? There would’ve been no point in tampering with Warley pre-CTB retiring since he was in his last year of eligibility.

I think someone mentioned earlier that an assistant from FSU is at Gonzaga now, so my guess is a preexisting relationship with a consistently tournament caliber team was all that was needed.

Well they didn’t get him any touches in the paint in first half against SJ. Second half they were feeding him and he was doing well. Got a lot of easy buckets and fouls.

He was 3-4 on 2s against SJ.

Tennessee different beast. I take back what I said about Igor… he was a way better player and more physical than I had originally thought.

I’ll be totally honest, I’d didn’t watch the SJ game because my nine month old exhausted me and in my precious two hours of quiet time after she went to sleep I didn’t want to watch us get wrecked, but I take your word for it he looked better at the end of that game.

I did watch the whole Tennessee game though. But probably shouldn’t have, ha.

Yeah as much as it pains me to say it not because I was wrong about him because I wasn’t but because it’s fuel on one long blocked resident know it all’s fire I have to say he was really solid you know what they say about broken clocks

Normally I’m not one to criticize another man’s parenting decisions, but if you don’t have your 9 month old up late watching UVA get wrecked how do you expect that child to grow up being able to handle disappointment later in life?
