How would he not be a lock to Clemson to follow in his brotherās footsteps? Ample front court depth there that he can work in as a 6th man while adjusting to the ACC.
I think this is what we saw this year. Rohde and Minor were the worst possible fits scheme wise we could have recruited. Lazy portal evaluations. We just saw āOh Rohde was averaging 20pts a game and Minor was dpoy for a conference championā.
An interesting point. Things seem to happen so fast & furious in portal recruiting, the staff just canāt give the same level of evaluation. Our system is very much about fit, and could help explain why our post-NIL portal additions have been less than stellar.
@Richan34 Yeah, Donahue is the guy mentioned as IDāing Dre and RD.
Slajchert is one of the better auto-eligible Ivy transfers (Ivies donāt allow grad student athletes and didnāt have a 2020-21 season, so anyone whose career included that season has an extra year they have to take somewhere else). I think Allocco from Princeton would be the much more interesting guard transfer.*
Hmmm, so either heās an undersized terrible outside shooter who canāt dunk with a bad back or a tall solid rebounder with a crafty post and mid range game who shoots 42% from 3 and has a sweet mustache.
Not sure what it says when a former NAIA guy has more skills and intangibles than the forwards we have been getting out of the portal recently⦠but it explains a lot.
I still consider your beloved Belmont as NAIA⦠from me growing up⦠they always had some ballers Also Lipscomb guy holds the college all time scoring record and used to be NAIA
IDC who else enters the portal. This guy should be the #1 priority. Heās built for the mover blocker and heās got that proverbial dog in him. Can only guess that being a NAIA player makes him hungry.
Sanchez is the ambassador to the West Coast. Does he know his AAU coach?
