šŸ€ 2024 Men's Basketball Offseason

me thinks Sharma is going to more than make up for any athleticism shortcomings with his size and shooting ability. He looked so natural taking that 3 on a curl. Hard not to be really excited about him.

Very eager to see how he shows out at the BW scrimmage

Two separate social media posts with practice clips on the same day? Does this mean Tony is going to retire after 2026?

Sharma may not start but there is no way he’s going to ride the pine all season.

At minimum a situational player.

I feel like Sharma could be Pete Maravich on offense, but he’s sitting the second the guy he’s guarding scores on consecutive possessions.

He will be Woldo

He’s a much better athlete than Tomas.

Hey! T-minus 3 days until it’s time to shut this thread down. Off-season ends this weekend. Preseason starts Monday. (Practice starts Monday or Tuesday)

I think I’m the only one who cares about this distinction, but I’ve never let that keep me from posting before.

Ah, the old ā€œhe was good when he eventually got minutes as an upperclassman, therefore he was wronged to have not gotten minutes as an underclassmanā€ argument, because as we all know, players as freshman are always as good as they are as seniors. Never mind that the two seasons the Huffer Puffers wish he’d played more, 2017-18 and 18-19, we went a combined 66-6.

Somewhat joking. I do think a slightly shorter leash would have been reasonable for him earlier in his career though.

Could’ve been 72-0… just sayin

But, and you know this because one poster has said it 1,000 times, we would have gone 72-0 if we played the Syracuse death lineup 40 minutes a game!!

Okay, but isn’t there merit to giving more minutes to guys whose efficiency numbers are off the charts when they do play?

Then if things do dip you can always revert back to what you already know is very good. But why not explore the thing that looks even better especially throughout seasons where you do have margin for error?
