I think Nebraska may be too far ahead of us in the committees eyes. Could see it being better for us if Purdue gets blown out. Then we beat Miami and officially pass Purdue (and hopefully Gonzaga as well). That would put us on the 3 line and then we need Kansas to not win the Big 12 title and would help if Bama lost today too.

No matter what your opinion of how the team has played in any given stretch or game… no one, probably not even the ODOMeter (this has to stick at some point right?) could have imagined a quad chart like this at the end of the season.

I am impressed.

I know. It’s just annoying that he is, more or less, the public face of Bracketology, and that’s the crap he puts out there for people to see.

Really unfortunate that SMU, NC State and Texas have all fallen out of the top 40 though. Only 1 Q1A win as of now and at most 1 opportunity to get one. Well…2, if OSU beats Michigan.

It shows 3 current Q1A wins above does it not?

Other results that could probably help our expected seed:

Houston over Kansas, OSU to pull off the unthinkable, Wisconsin over Illinois, Tennessee over Vandy, Seton Hall over St Johns, Ole Miss over Alabama, Georgetown over Uconn, Oklahoma over Arkansas, Dayton over St Bonaventure

those net rankings our out of date

lack of Q1A wins can definitely hurt us if the committee choose to focus on that. hurt Louisville last season.

Mark Few out there telling reporters that Braden Huff has ā€œstarted joggingā€ and may be available at some point in the NCAAT. Pathetic, bold faced lie.

This board needs to hate Gonzaga more than it does.

My current bracketology guess:
3 if we win the ACCT
4 otherwise

Doesn’t seem likely that other teams results are gonna move us up at this point

I think this is right unless everyone currently on the 3 line gets the crap beat out of them today

Any idea who we need to jump to not get shipped out west? Or are we SOL on that front at this point?

I think we need to be ahead of 2 other teams that would otherwise be sent to an eastern time zone site.

I’m looking forward to the following after the bracket is revealed…

Reporter: We can’t help but notice that the inclusion and seeding tracks the WAB exactly.

Selection Committee Member: Huh, that’s… weird

Reporter: Your face is kinda pink

SCM: Yeah, got a little too much sun I guess

Torvik’s argument is that they should be in over Miami because they played Houston, Michigan, and Arizona — three losses better than any of Miami’s 31 wins.

Which is great, I guess, but they lost two of those by 30. And to Purdue by 30, too.

I’m telling you that they are all going out to Denny’s with a laptop for a Grand Slam breakfast and asking ChatGPT to build them a bracket. Then they will play 9-holes of golf to build up a sweat to appear like they were working on the bracket all day.

if Purdue loses today I think UVA has a very real chance at a 3 with a win over Miami and a loss to Duke. Would help if the Duke loss is by less than 26.

Depends on what KU and Alabama do in their tourneys… I dont think Vandy, Arkansas or St. John’s would be able to pass a UVA team that makes the ACC finals.

Checking bracket matrix and a few of the top-ranked bracketologists have moved Kansas ahead of us after yesterday’s results…why?

I think the only caveat here is, any of those 5 seed SEC teams could probably jump to a 3 if they won the SEC tourney and beat Florida in the process. That would trump our making the ACCT finals but losing to Duke.
