We get the one seed, easy fix

I’ve seen that said, but what are you basing it on? Is there some data that shows it?

I posted above that in 2/5 of the last years, the consensus nailed all the top 3 seeds correctly, and in 3/5, one of the consensus 3s got a 4 but everyone else was right.

So I’m going to treat the final consensus as close to final gospel and the consensuses (consensi?) between now and then as the current gospel.

Again, 40% for a consensus is not impressive and actually argues against your point of echo chambering not existing.

I don’t want to take too much credit away from Vanderbilt, but this is an AWFUL performance from Florida. Any chance they get knocked off the 1 line if Houston wins tonight?

I feel like I’m taking crazy pills. How is Gonzaga still comfortably on everyone’s 3 line?? We need the ACC/Carla to make a case because that’s simply not acceptable.

have to believe that houston’s resume looks better if they knock off Arizona. And florida loses

Yeah I’m not really sure why Jim Phillips hasn’t been on tv talking ā€œacc disrespectā€. Every other commish does. Is he just waiting for a broker fee for when the acc falls apart?

Not sure how it would impact seeding, but it’s great watching Salem’s own Mark Byington smack Todd Golden around. Golden has the emotional intelligence of a 13 year old. And that is probably an insult to most kids 13.

Which is a double standard, because the argument most people use against us is that we don’t have any elite wins. Who are Florida’s elite wins? Their best win is Alabama at home.

It hurts us but shoutout Byington, still #AllinForByington

TJ Power with 13 so far in the first half of their semi as Penn is up double digits on Harvard.

Would love to see TDR matchup against Power in the first round.

Their best wins are @ Vandy plus almost beating Duke in Cameron and playing UConn close in MSG.

Efficiency metrics are being so misused now. They shouldnt be the primary basis for seeding. Wins and losses should matter.

Careful you’ll offend some on this board with this opinion.

Gonna be a 5 with a loss at this rate if Wisconsin wins too

It would be annoying to track all these but Vandy over Florida should count as a home win not a neutral. Tickets are cheap, students only fill so much space, make a left on Broadway and you’re at Memorial gym, make a right and you’re at Bridgestone.

Even bigger gripe with St. John’s playing at MSG counting as a neutral.

Especially for the mid week games leading up to today.

Well don’t have to worry about that

This is sarcasm, right?

Yes but I’d be livid with the seed
