We just offered a UCONN commit. Hope get some of their guys!!
Another one that may be about to do it⦠Cade Wommack went from HC to DC at Alabama and may be the front runner for the Arkansas job now
If Franklin wins 10 or 11 with a decent offense in the next 2 years Rahne is probably looking at ACC jobs. Heās probably currently only looking at middling Go5 ones
Nailed it right there. And the importance of nailing that next step is so critical. Get stuck in a middling Go5 or a low P4 that is not invested or set up for success and suddenly you have a 8-32 record and youāre considered a bust coach. When the reality was no one was saving that program.
Maybe that frees up Gordie Sammis.
But Alabama is a blueblood. VPI is Carrie pig blood.
Rahne would get a salary increase, possibly more than double, at VT
No fucking way theyāll pay him $1.73 million ā 2x his current salary. Thatās delusional. At most $1 million.
Good for Gordie!

Thereās a new newest coach in the ACC. Pritchard was the Commanders QB coach.

Why do they call him a director of football
Thatās certainly a choice. Guess they wanted to keep it in the fam
My first thought was that it reeks of a nepo hire by Luck, but from what Iāve seen Washington fans seem to think pretty highly of him. So who knows.
Hmmm, yeah thatās strange, I guess they just have weird titles.
The impression that I got from reading local reporters in DC was that Pritchard was viewed as the OC in waiting and would take over when/if Kliff Kingsbury ever got another HC gig. So heās well regarded, but a risky hire by Andrew Luck.
That was my thought as well.
I honestly dont know much about him as a coach. He doesnt have a lot of experience to point to him being good or bad as an HC
Andrew Luck hired the guy he supplanted as Stanford starting QB as a redshirt Freshman to be head coach of the football team heās now the GM of. Thatāsā¦an interesting decision.
Yeah I think thatās it. Troy Taylor was āDirector of Footballā too.
The guy who endowed the position is the guy who committed to give them $50 mil: https://news.stanford.edu/stories/2025/10/stanford-football-gift-bradford-freeman
Freeman remained a loyal Stanford football fan. In 1988, he endowed the nationās first head coaching position, the Bradford M. Freeman Director of Football, which is currently held by Frank Reich. His early support helped inspire the endowment of other coaching positions across Stanfordās 36 varsity sports.
Itās different obviously but Vin Lananaās title is director as well
Stanfordās OC position is also endowed as the āAndrew Luck Directorship of Offenseā lol

Late night scoop but it seems that Lane to LSU is official. Heās done a great job flushing all the good will heās built up over the past couple years down the toilet.
Heās such a clown
Heās so slimey & gross!
