Second half reminds me a lot of the second half of the 2016 game against Butler in the round of 32… not quite as good as that one as we scored over 50 in that half

Odom playing chess in recruiting…. to offset the mid major crazy game where they shoot lights out against us he recruited some mid major guys so they could do it back to the opponent and White came through.

Whatever money the school pays Nike should go to this guy instead.

Bring back the Hoo mascot we’d immediately be the internets favorite and stop scaring children with our goateed human

Took me a minute to figure out the St. John’s.

I like it better than the dung beetle.

Grünloh, too. Both have more turovers than assists this season.

Actually, looking at the stats, only three Hoos had assist-to-turnover ratios higher than 1.5 this year. Hall and Chance are obvious. Bet you can’t guess the third without looking.

Why do the Boozers get their own logo?

That looks like a Syracuse mascot dressed up as a Cavalier for Halloween.

My guess was way off, I am surprised at who it was!

Gertrude was 3/1 ratio

Dave is right. Gertrude fits the bill, too, since I didn’t establish any minimum threshholds for the question. But I was thinking of Tillis. He made some nice passes yesterday, too. I think his passing all year was underrated. But it also points out that we had a lot of players who were really sloppy with the ball. That showed up yesterday, too.

Another thing I noticed in person I dont see on TV. He did make some really good passes that not all guys see

And it’s a shame because Tillis really was never right again after his latest knee injury. Him being able to hit a couple of 3s could’ve been really big yesterday, but he was so bad on defense and rebounding after the knee re-injury.

Dave, I love Eli and would have liked to see him play, but every statistic you cite is based on a very small sample size; you really can’t make any assumptions at all based on that.

Matt Norlander after going on and on about Tennessee, ā€œVirginia, you just didn’t live up to expectations, but the arrow is pointed the right way.ā€ Apparently, Odom didn’t do ENOUGH as a first-year coach with an entirely new roster. I suppose we didn’t win the NCAA championship, so…

You are gonna love love Eli’s little brother. 12 years old and legit 6 feet. Has the look of a baller already ha

He’s saying that we didn’t play up to our seed, not that we didn’t meet preseason expectations or anything like that. Not playing to our 3 seed is objectively true. Not everything is supposed to be a slight towards us.

Sigh. He didn’t say that. He said we didn’t play up to our seed, which was true.

Enough with the insecure projections onto national media…

He had an opportunity but chose to take a shot at us. I love Norlander because he is generally fair, but that was a slight.
