We wouldn’t be in the same region as Duke as a 4 or 5 seed. The top 4 teams in a conference are placed in different regions, if possible.

That’s only true if they are among the top four seeds, hence why it would make a difference if we are a 4 or a 5.
“The first four teams from any conference placed on the top four seed lines must be assigned to different regions (unless five or more teams appear on those seed lines).”

Watching this SLU-VCU game and man I want Sharma back.
Jennings and Hill on VCU could also play in the ACC if Odom still has a good relationship with them. Belle or Tillery could be fringe depth pieces as well.

Could really see us anywhere from 14-OUT today. I think the biggest question is how the committee preemptively punishes Texas Tech for the Toppin injury.

Yes going to be tough for us to hold onto a 4 based on this. Pretty much have to win out minus Duke and win our quarterfinal I think
Long way to go and that could be said for everyone 3 line down. I like our chances to work our way up some.

They have a JT Toppin less TT team so high. Going to be tough to overcome our SOS and OOC SOS number I think.

Those numbers are only going to get better, we have a SOS friendly stretch starting today. We need to win games forsure but so does everyone else. I just think if we pick up the wins we could pretty easily pass a few of these teams.
Look obviously 3-0 over the next week is the ideal but if we could go 2-1 with a win at Duke I think we’d move up the overall rankings.
