Tough overtime loss for the women but neither had anything to do with snow. Iām sure that the N. C. State women made it back to Raleigh before the snow. Roads are still very passable now at 9:25 p.m.

To fade into irrelevance, one must first be relevant. At best this program has occasionally been on the cusp of relevance, but no more.
I define relevance as being ranked in the Top 25. I donāt think thatās unfair.
Our WBB team has not been ranked in the AP poll since Thanksgiving of 2011, the first month of Joanna Boyleās tenure. At this point irrelevance is the programās perpetual state.

On the one hand, in our last two games (Pitt doesnāt count) we lost to the #8 (Torvik) team by 7, and the #18 team by 2. That makes us seemā¦ at a high level?
On the other hand, we lost them both and our resume sucks. We have zero (!) good wins (Clemson is our best) and we have a terrible loss (UMBC) and thereās only 9 games left to do something.

We probably need to go 6-3 the rest of the way to make it without a serious ACCT run. Which is rough, because weāre probably only favored in 3 games the rest of the way (Miami, @Cal, and VT). That having been said, the only game thatās hopeless is @Louisville. If all our remaining games were at neutral sites, weād probably be favored in 5 and a push vs Stanford. So, its doable, its just going to be tough.

Randomly went to ESPN.com and saw the game is on and started watching. Seems super weird to play a ACC game on a Thursday afternoon.
