This was ESPN’s WCBB Bracketology coming into the weekend.
Losing today to VT is not going to help at all.

So I was at this game. Strange runs and struggles on both sides. At times, both teams seemed to be getting excellent looks but unable to knock them down. Then there was a stretch were both teams were taking terrible shots and also missing them.
Despite the foul disparity, I thought it was a pretty fairly called game – they were mostly letting them play, but calling reach-ins, and we kept doing that.
Couldn’t stay in front of Wetzel, couldn’t make the shots we got.
Edited to add: Offense got stagnant for long stretches, too. Stretches where the only players moving were the PG and a screener, everyone else standing. Tech pretty consistently moved better without the ball.

Sadly, I think this is the case. I think we’re cooked. This wasn’t a literal must-win, but it was close.
7 games to go, we probably need to win 5, and we’re only going to be favored in 2 (and @Cal will probably be a push). We need to win everything except @Louisville (which is hopeless) and then we need to win 2/3 of ND, @Stanford, and UNC, all of which we’re going to be solid underdogs.

Yep, and all the hokies around me were convinced that she got fouled, too.
