Left side of our infield has to improve defensively, no? I know the sabremetrics discount the importance of defense, but it certainly mattered in a number of games last year, just one of which probably cost us a postseason.

All of their 2026 commits are following UVa baseball but Alvarez.
But one did decommit five days ago, so he would seem to be the leader in the clubhouse.

They haven’t decommitted but I’m curious about the two left-handed pitchers. One is from Lexington, Virginia. Didn’t Alvarez just recently commit to Muscara?
