Fear not, they’re not gonna play together.
I will never be able to keep Garcia and Gracia straight in my head. My phone even autocorrects the latter to the former.
Nick Becker signs for 2.75 million.
Taking that to mean he really wanted to come to Charlottesville!

Osinski signs with the Yanks.
Haven’t seen it confirmed anywhere, but Spotrac is showing Jack O’Connor as having signed with the Dodgers for $158,775. Around $50k lower than his pick’s projected slot value.
Will make a post in this thread tracking all of our players who have/haven’t signed.
Lanzendorfer added Dodgers organization to his IG bio too. Suspect he signed today as well.
- Nick Becker: SIGNED with the Mariners for $2.75 mil ($1.1 mil above slot)

2026 commit from Menlo Park, CA.
RHP.
Duke flip.
Ranked 141 in the class at Perfect Game.
Speaking of Perfect Game rankings, do/did/will they update their 2025 class rankings to account for Draft signee losses?
Meaning, right now PG has our 2025 class as #7 nationally, best non-$EC class (and one better than Oak’s at Miss State). So is that accurate and reflective of post-coaching-change flips as well removing guys choosing to go pro over college this last week?
Not accurate yet, but they will update the rankings once all the signings are put through. Probably some time after the deadline to sign has passed.
Also this guy is gonna be a really good college pitcher. Needs to tick up the velocity on his FB a bit but the cut and his ability to hide the ball in his windup is extremely advanced for his age.
My guess is we end up around 5 once all is said and done.
It’s funny you mentioned this and the official program Twitter page tweeted it out at roughly the same time.
I’m with @KarlHess I think the ranking will go up once the draft signings are all sorted. We had a very favorable outcome to that and are still adding good prospects.
Hopefully we stay ahead of Miss State. I’ll be hate following them some now haha.
Of course, in their mind KPS will have recruited this group which really isn’t true. I feel that marriage is going to see some turbulent waters. KPS is probably wise to keep his family in Charlottesville.
Are they really staying in Cville? Wow.
Also, I gather it originated on 247, but I missed the origin of the KPS nickname. Can anyone fill me in?
KPS = Kroger Potato Salad
People wanted something besides Oak or BOC.
May as well make fun of appearing on MBG’s account too.
I remain a “Starkville has one Thai, Indian, and **** restaurant, according to Trip Adviser” truther.
(I embarrassingly forget the third one)
Got it - Mexican. Sorry, Mexico. Or maybe Starkville should apologize. I dunno
Ah, thanks! I had seen the MBG post.
Strange seeing La Salle on the list, but 36 commitments will do that haha. They cut Baseball back in 2021, but are reinstating it for this upcoming season.
