Would imagine Kentucky fans are in some sort of meltdown right now

Yep. Hearing “the season is already over” “panic” “program in decline.” Vibes are definitely not good in Lexington.
Griff got his man!
Merrimack ain’t playing and is all in on the portal. Word on the street is their #1 donor refused to round up his donation to the nearest dollar. Could be the death knell on the deal. Ugh!

They could keep their cash and lure him with the promise of their zone
$258 would sound much sexier than $257.63. All I’m saying.
You say that, but I’m the jerk who sees “will you round up for the kids?” And I’m like “hell no, kids never rounded up for me!”
I’m joking… kinda
If Mike Scott had played in the post 2014 era, would he be a Top 10 All Time-Hoo?

Doesn’t get enough credit for kickstarting the Bennett era, IMO
I tend to like the surprisingly good outcome that can come from holdovers getting coached by the new coach. All they have to do is show up to studio art
One of my favorite Hoos of all time. Dude never missed a mid range jumper.
I think the first time I became aware of KenPom was when he was making the case that Mike Scott should be getting more awards consideration based on tempo-free stats.
Went looking for these after a discussion with @tonyburnertt on Louisville NIL impact.
I’m a bit surprised by the relatively low capacity % (for Louisville) but I wonder if injuries took a toll. Plus the ACC’s craptacular schedule doesnt help
I’m very surprised by how high NC State’s number is/was. There’s a real Wade effect in there, I assume.
Louisville tickets are very heavily corporate owned. Everyone I know down there gets UofL tickets through work all the time. I assume a lot are sitting in an administrative assistant’s inbox at ISCO or whatever corporation unused. I get a lot of offers to come down to Virginia games @ Louisville from my partner’s family in the area, all their companies have tix and nobody seems to ever want the UVa ones.
On the flip side, it’s a knife fight for UK tickets to even some of the buy games sometimes. Those things have been in families for generations (and some of those guys that bought them generations ago are still going which is a whole different problem).
A lot of those corporations’ top brass are Kentucky fans too lol
How good is Michigan gonna be if they’re losing Mara, Morez Johnson, and Yax? And are not getting Juke?
I didn’t follow HS recruiting as much as normal this past year for obvious reasons, so maybe their incoming guys are just that good…
In general, the more I look at other rosters (Duke maybe excluded), I worry a little less about the current holes in ours
I feel like overall number is a lot more relevant than % capacity
Lmao if LIU gets two former five stars
Eh, both averaged high single digits in JuCo in the last couple seasons. They kinda peaked in HS.
Yea I’m not pretending like they’re going to be a top 100 team but optically it would be funny
Feel like that helps my case even more. Louisville only does 40k more people per season than us and half those are going to your brother-in-law when his team comes to town.
We’re not as far off from Louisville as a program as we think imo.
Part of me kinda wonders what our game atmosphere and program would look like if you magically dropped JPJ into downtown Richmond.
