Yes
Ok, that was an easy one.
Will he?

In a more serious answer I think he’ll be on the borderline. Somewhere as a top 11-20 player in the conference next year. But I don’t watch extensive tape of every incoming player so very much a feeling rather than informed opinion
It’s not the end all and be all, but Evan Miya had him there last year. Ranked 10th in the ACC in his player rankings. He was an analytic darling.
I think Chance’s challenge will be keeping his edge over a full season with much more wear and tear.
I’m hopeful that some solution to reduce his workload without a huge drop off in quality will be found.
Yeah, just eyeballing it, but he trailed off in March a bit.
Book was also out on Chance. He will need to keep evolving his game.
I think people forget how good Chance was in his “good” games. He was occasionally the best player on the floor at a few points during ACC play.
I tend to think we’ll see a slightly improved version of him next year vs a massive jump. I think the jump will come in year 3 when he will likely be looked at as the primary scorer on the team. But even a slight improvement (especially improved consistency) is a borderline All ACC player.
Especially on defense. It seemed like he got beat off the dribble too often later in the year. Guys are going to shoot over him but he can’t let guards blow by him like that.
Chance is gonna be a stud next year.
Sounds like Battle 4 Atlantis is now another one of the fake MTEs where there is no bracket. We will play Xavier and Marquette.
A bit disappointing given we were supposed to be in Player’s Era and would have gotten like TCU, Michigan, Alabama/Gonzaga to take Miami’s path.
Damn that sucks. I thought it was rumored that Iowa was the other team.
Xavier is projected #56 by Torvik. They actually did have a pretty good portal haul. Pretty well sized. Won’t be a gimme.
Yep massive bummer for many reasons not to be in the players
Xavier is fine but would’ve preferred A&M
You mentioned the potential Carrere at PG possibility once.
I guess it’s a slight bummer, but we play Kentucky, UConn, potentially Illinois/Arkansas, Marquette, Xavier, Maryland, etc. It has the potential to be the most difficult non-conference schedule we’ve had in a really long time.
