With Nolan tho, we have 18 on the roster. 15 + 3 DSAs (I assume, Lang, Roberts, and Gertrude). So unless thereās a stealth DSA already on the roster, we are full, I think.
I really do think if push came to shove, we could demote Owen Odom without pissing off his parents too muchā¦ (at least his dad).
I imagine theyāll be a suit or two asking for roster exemptions for these guys.
Iām still skeptical our bball team is looking to add, but it sounds like our football team was interested in adding, so probably puts a damper on that.
Edited to add: The latter also implies we have at least some money still in the couch cushions.

MLK Day could be an opportune time to play such a game.
I would love to see an MLK-themed event either the weekend before or after MLK, where Hampton, Norfolk State, Virginia State and Virginia Union match up against state schools like UVa, VT, VCU, GMU, etc. at either the Hampton Coliseum or Norfolk Scope. Have an ACC tournament setup with games at 12:00, 2:30, 6:30 & 9:00. Rotate the state schools every year.

Yea and it sounds like Odom will try to regularly schedule a power conference opponent later in the year. However no high major programs are going to pause conference schedules to play teams from the worst D1 conferences in the country or D2
Great idea if the schedule would allow it. Hampton Coliseum would work great for me.
A more likely version is that a marquee power conference matchup gets paired with a HBCU vs HBCU matchup as a doubleheader or something.
They did it with the SWAC which has a lot of Texas schools but yea led to some weird games like USC @ Alabama State
Something sort of similar happening on opening night this year with Florida vs Miami and Florida State vs Florida A&M in a doubleheader.
