If everyone who can come back does come back, I think we’re in good shape in the frontcourt with Smith, Amanze, Ring and Hurd.
We need a lot more shooting at the wing though. Johnson’s probably playing 40 minutes at the point every game, so probably need at least 2 wings, maybe more and that’s if White and McGhee both come back and take steps forward.
So, anything to get excited about here?

I was afraid of her leaving. But also, I don’t fault her for it and I’m not sure she had a path to a lot of playing time next season either.

I assume that means Hurd. Which sucks, because she’s a fun player and an absolute dawg. But she has a lifetime 3FG% of 25% (on decent volume), she turns the ball over a lot, and while she was a good rebounder last year, not so much this year. Her minutes got cut in half with the influx of new players, and I assume this coming season will be more of the same. So, it sucks, but its not really unexpected if true, kinda like with O.
Most of the rest of the folks we brought in are mercenaries until proven otherwise. It’d be great if they stayed, but not super surprising if they don’t.
I’m not even going to entertain the idea of Mo entering the portal, because it wouldn’t be appropriate to weep at my workplace.
