Not according to what I can see online. London’s school was more of a typical (albeit good) public high school in GA. Dilione was at some sort of private school in NC.
Well to be honest, Kihei, Casey and Reece are all 6”2 and under and the latter two were TBs first choice. It’s cool to have one of those guys to supplement bigger guys like Ty on a championship team and to guard smaller and quicker guards, but I agree it’s ideal to have some size. Unless you are a KG like super talent who was just a scoring machine.
I like Jaydon Young. But it seems like Kaiser seems the most likely commit and all staff are on it. HGN alluded to the culture fit which is important in the age of NIL and Transfer Portal
I like the prospect of Jaydon Young being that secondary ball handler to Freddie and having TJ power at the 4 as a Hauser/less douchy Kispert Type. And then a wing at the 3 (Dunn, Isaiah Abraham in 2024)
But Kaiser would give Tony that Joe Harris/Klay Thompson prototype
Maybe this is a bit of an exaggeration, but Young Peja is in the “too good to pass up” camp for me. Even if we fill the big guard position with Kaiser, if Stojakovic wanted to commit here I think you have to find space for him in the class. He’s a game changer and a perfect fit for what we want to do offensively.
Im surprised we are even getting a visit. Staff clearly want him and the Joe Harris/KlayThompson at Washington State/ Murphy/Hauser pitch to shooters is strong.
I mean he’s definitely going to visit Kentucky and Kansas. Kansas has the Christian Braum/How we are going to use Grady Dick comparison. Kentucky is Kentucky. Peja’s son with Kentucky NIL >>> first contract for a lottery pick lol. Sheppard will hook him up with some Kentucky Dentist swag.
Also UCLA and USC being nearby. It feels like the schools listed for the fall visits are going to be his top 4 LOL
I’ll set the o/u at 5.5 actual visits haha The groupings of summer vs fall pretty much lays out the trap of summer recruiting. You’re just entertaining some of them.
