Hoos up to 19 on Kenpom
Looking like a solid W for Clemson
Yep. Boise was able to stay with them for the first half, but Clemson came out of halftime and really rolled them.
I’m watching Miami, and despite their lead, I am not very impressed by them. Lots of dribbling and on-on-one basketball; neither team playing defense. Of course, Miami is going to beat a team in this kind of game. K State just can’t shoot.
Is Boise any good? Couldn’t find them on kenpom
#59. They are good, but the way they play doesn’t lend itself well to Clemson’s style, imo.
Louisville vs Kadin
1 minute you get the good and bad with Kadin. A goaltend and going to the flor with a rebound but also a steal. Double edged sword.
Also this texas lineup cant shoot 3s. But Louisville is bad.
I don’t think there is going to be much to objectively take away about Shedrick’s game playing Louisville. It only took about 2 minutes to discuss how Shedrick was used poorly at Virginia.
It was Jay Williams who is no UVA fan. Shed did show two nice offensive moves.
I flipped it on for a second. In that second kadin took a blow to the face, naturally.
2nd kadin goal tend. Also how is this even a game 10 minutes in. Louisville is abysmal.
Yeah, it’s fair to say that Shedrick had his issues but we also didn’t fully use him to his potential offensively.
I just watched Shedrick set a great pick, hit a shot from the elbow, alley oop and also make a sweet transition pass. Also saw him give up an “and 1” and basket interference.
I don’t love him as a player.
I had forgotten what the Jay Williams experience is like. He’s always so unprepared haha…Still I prefer him to most of the ESPN stable of college game analysts.
How has Texas allowed Louisville to stay in this game? I love this for a monumental upset. But I expect Texas will come out ready to play after halftime.
Texas has no real outstanding guard play and no real 3pt shooters. Pick n roll with Kadin might currently be their best offense.
Louisville is an enigma. We forget they occasionally played up their potential last year…ruined Clemson’s season. They have good pieces.
Kadin has looked good. But I still think Louisville, even playing up to competition and being hyped, is still garbage and the only reason this isn’t a 20 pt game is because texas has no consistent 3pt shooting guards
They do have some good pieces, but the piece that ruined Clemson’s season was Ellis, imo.
Wake Forest has climbed back in against LSU on ESPN2. They need a win.
Forgot Tyrese Hunter was on Texas. The kid who Tony Bennett is his mentor and told him not to transfer the first go around at Iowa State (transferred the following season chasing NIL). But also explains the poor 3pt shooting from the texas perimeter.
Is this a genuine coming out party for Louisville, or is Texas just overrated?
