A little of both. But Louisville looks like a different team, genuinely.
What a blunder by Hildreth.
But saved by the timeout! Overtime.
Wow. He got bailed out. Still amazing LSU didn’t make that layup. Wake dodged two bullets
Wake’s defense has not impressed me since I tuned in. They’re getting beaten routinely off the dribble and all of LSU’s screens are creating huge advantages that Wake can’t recover from. Not terribly impressed, although they’re hanging in there.
I like Ty Laur Johnson’s old man game. Can see why he was on our radar momentarily, grades be damned
For as good as Kadin has been offensively, Louisville has gotten so many offensive rebounds.
I swear the ref in the Louisville game started to make a charge signal before switching to a block… like he just remembered the new rules halfway through making his call
Kadin with a classic awkward stumble. But now that he wears orange, gets the call.
Lol Shedrick has figured out how to weaponize his clumsiness
CC Tony. Need orange jerseys asap
Really bad at boxing out. Bad / non-instinctual defensive positioning. It’s why he lived in the dog house.
Last year around this time UVA fans were talking about Shedrick making the leap. We were only off by 1 year. He’s made the leap!
Literally had the same though
LOL not so sure. A lot of his points are just off poor Louisville D schemeing and fundamentals (wide open under the rim, not being boxed out, etc. etc.). I will say despite the poor rebounding I do miss his shot blocking but that was already a given, not something new.
But even with Kadin with 100 points I see why Tony loves Buchanan relative to Kadin lol
I think he made it last year.
He’s definitely getting more offensive opportunity and showing out - wasn’t a fit for Tony’s coaching style and playing style so I don’t think we’d see the same results.
So help me though if he makes the same comparison in his post game interview…
I need Louisville to win just to avoid the post game UVA bashing LOL
Shedrick had good games last year, too. The question for him will be consistency. I think he’ll have a good year, and I hope he does. But if Shedrick were still here, Buchanan wouldn’t get as much playing time, and honestly I think we’re better off with Blake.
Louisville playing 5 on 8 and trying dearly to hang on.
Texas really does have no one in their guard rotation who can reliably hit a 3. Hopefully thats not us tomorrow vs Wisconsin’s packline without McKneely
Haven’t been able to watch, but just from the box score, looks like Abmas is not him, but thinks he’s him
Shedrick finally showing that he learned how to hedge.
