I wonder which 2 teams get dropped from the challenge next season. Wouldn’t drop UL 2 years in a row right? Probably would want to include the new teams. So I guess ND and hmm…I guess you might want to drop UL again. Or Cal.

I’d drop Florida State after that abysmal close to the game. Embarrassing stuff.
Hokies also looked like a JV team playing the Varsity. Undersized and underathletic at every position on the floor. If Auburn could shoot a lick they might have lost by 50

The ACC has 3 clear tiers:
Tier 1: (The Contenders: should make the tourney easily) UNC, Duke, UVA, Miami, Clemson
Tier 2: (The Mess: Probably 1 or 2 are tourney contenders, but possibly none make it. You can also put these in a hat and draw the order of finish out right now) Pitt, NCSU, FSU, Syracuse, WF, VT, BC, GT
Tier 3 (No chance) UL, ND

I’d put GT in their own little no man’s land between the 2nd and 3rd tier but otherwise agree
These metrics mean very little. The ACC has won 3 of the last 8 nattys (3 different teams) and 8 of the last 23.
When another conference can top that then ill listen. Until then it’s just a lot of tongue flapping.

The conference rating itself doesn’t mean anything but the ratings of individual conference teams matter a ton for NCAA selection and seeding. Hard to get a top 2 seed if you don’t win a solid number of Q1 games. Impossible to win them if they aren’t on your schedule
