And Drones got hurt on the play, wow. Would be awful luck for VT.
What is it with head coaches and having zero idea how to manage the clock. Vandy with 38 seconds left and all three timeouts just lets the clock run, and they’re gonna settle for the FG.
Putting your trust in a college kicker to make a 40+ yarder instead of getting farther down field is so dumb. We’ll see how it plays out here.

I understand not wanting to leave any time for VT if things went wrong. But even if you’re committed to the FG attempt, they could have gotten another couple plays in first with better clock management. Another 5 yards closer, that kick might be good.

This is a VPI program that no longer has any respect from anyone outside Blacksburg. Home dogs (+13.5) win and the fans don’t even rush the field.
