Son recovered from his fever, off to the VT-based local sports bar to get out of the house.
“They don’t have to change the graphic every year”
Wasn’t following the VT game, but now that I know Vandy had the Chaos God Diego Pavia at QB, it all makes sense.
Please please please tell me the Vandy Whistlers were parked right in the middle of the away fanbase for that game….
To heck with tanking their men’s program. They had a national championship quality WBB program and let their coach walk to the $EC. Unbelievable move by Whit.
Pavia is what I hope AC can do for us this year but with more passing upside (and also not having to run him 26 times in a game would be nice). Open up some RPO and triple option game putting the defense in one on one situations against our skill players.
Am having so much fun reading this board. We better not shit the bed against Richmond because otherwise this is shaping up to be a great day.
I’ve never been so damn happy to be so damn wrong!!!
I said anything short of 10 wins would be bad for VT given all they returned and how weak their schedule is. To lose to Vandy after all that offseason hype and bravado is so funny. Like I said upthread, nothing better than VT fans having aspirations because it always ends in hilarious fashion
Miami looks legit (or is Florida bad?).
Either way, it’s in the Swamp, and Carolina and VPI were terrible on the road vs. P4 teams.
Ward is the best QB they’ve had there in years, if they can’t win with him then idk what they’re gonna do.
They recruited very well at the position between 2016-20 with Perry, Williams, and Van Dyke — all top 150 kids — and couldn’t win with them.
Will be fascinating if they decide to go the transfer route every year if Ward works out.
Another ACC* team playing well on the road vs. an SEC team.
Thankfully, VPI was not one of those ACC teams.
I still can’t believe VT lost. That is just so classic and amazing
