Hurricane Helene could impact the VT-Miami game. The storm looks like itās going to miss Miami to the west but bad weather on Friday night could be a factor.
I would love to see it. This also feels like a game that Va tech just wins for no logical reason. But maybe thatās just the UVA fan in me that thinks they win every game because they beat my team every year.
It definitely feels like a game they inexplicably keep closer than they should. Maybe the bad weather limits Ward. That levels the playing field a little since VT is a running team. But barring a complete no show from Miami (possible, but also doubtful on a Friday night at home with tech coming off short rest) itās likely an easy win for the U
I donāt know manā¦ Ward is a great runner, Damien Martinez is a dawg, and that is a Cristobal O-line. I think theyāre built for a game in the rain.
BUT Tech is surely having a fire lit under their ass right now though, so I do expect them to show slightly more of a pulse, and you can never count on Cristobal to coach a clean game if it gets tight.
Itās because they donāt offer graduate degrees. Oh wellā¦ canāt win every battleā¦ and they are definitely NOT liberal arts schools. Every degree is a Bachelors of Science from a service academyā¦ even the ones you would expect to see a Bachelor of Arts. All your electives are engineering focused.
Why is Buffalo in the bracket? Already got Rice. USC is the next ranked school (technically tied at 27 with UNC).
Or hmmā¦need a Big XII representative.
Dear Lord, Buffaloās ranked 76, but the highest ranked Big XII school is Baylor at 91. Tulane, UMass and UConn are ahead of Buffalo, but lack conferences or are behind Rice.
Edit: didnāt notice that 11 was a split UNC/USC box already.
