Crazy! I think that’s gotta stand too…so hard to see what happens in the scrum.
Not sure how the ref on the field could have called that a TD from that vantage point.

Looks like it comes loose as he comes down but then can’t tell if he regathers before it’s stripped. Might be the wrong call but hard to overturn.
That was not a catch, that was a constant bobble until being touched by a player out of bounds. They may even have enough to overturn. But they probably will let it stand.

Wtf. That seemed like Charlotte wanted to make sure the ACC still had a playoff contender (and refs who aren’t murdered at Hard Rock). Bad call on the field, and also a terrible overturn.

Crazy ending. We’ll see if this call ends up changing who gets in the playoffs. My guess is there will be only one ACC representative, most likely Clemson or Miami. But if ths W allows Miami to edge out another ACC team for a berth in the ACC championship, it will raise some eyebrows.

On Twitter it’s all “the fix is in for Miami.” Like, wow is there a lot of that.
Little off-topic, but I hate when an announcer weighs in strongly on a call like that announcer did. It short-circuits the conversation by establishing that announcer’s opinion as “fact” in the minds of fans.
