šŸ€ ACC Men's Basketball - Week 13: 26 January - 1 February 2026

He was shooting 18% in ACC play from 3 coming into today. He’s 0-4 today

They’re going to have a spend a huge chunk of their minuscule budget to keep Hansberry and Hammond

They should probably just make Frazier head coach

20 bucks says VT fires Young if they miss the tourney. Not saying it’s right (it’d be stupid) but I could absolutely see that happening.

They’re gonna kneecap every other sport just for an occasional 10 win football season and first round CFP exit. And that’s assuming Franklin stays longer than a few years if successful (he won’t)

I’d love to get Bedford as a transfer. He does a little of everything for VT.

Lucky for VT, Hansberry can’t miss from 3. Keeping them in this game. Also helps Sarr keeps shooting

He’s a Senior, no?

I bet Sarr gets the NBA-style ā€œgonna put our center on you so we can keep him around the rimā€ defense more and more this season.

Bedford didn’t play in any games as a freshman so not sure if he redshirted or injury???

REALLY good game going between SMU and Louisville.

Yes pleasing to the eye

Louisville is just a different team with a healthy Mikel Brown (although he really stunk against Duke on Monday).

iMac really benefitting from Mikel Brown being back.

Louisville passing Virginia in Torvik and KenPom after this game is gonna annoy me (even though it doesn’t actually mean anything)

A road win over a team ranked higher than us is nothing to complain about

Oh no Cal

Phew, cal survives despite missing both free throws up one. Ten bid ACC still alive!

Side note: Miami might be a little fraudulent.

Down to four teams with two or fewer losses in conference play (Duke, Clemson, Virginia, NC State)

Fraudulent for sure. The only good team they have played is Clemson, and they lost. I think their SOS is like 101.

NC State, Miami, and Clemson all have more difficult schedules coming up.

Making it through the bulk of our toughest games relatively unscathed is a great spot to be with others’ schedules ramping up. We can even afford one inexplicable loss in the next 4-5 before Miami. The fact that we escaped those two makes me feel pretty good, though. 7-2 in conference at this point would’ve been best case scenario in the preseason.
