Yeah but they’re also playing a super small rotation. Essentially six guys with two more for spot minutes. Hopefully our depth provides a meaningful advantage tomorrow

Need an answer for Hendricks this time around. He torched us during 2nd half of last game.
Donaldson is going to get his. Can’t have two guys who are iso / making tough shots.

At least if we play Miami we get a Q1 win either way (if they beat us they’d move into top 30 so our prior win would become Q1).

Those bums are gonna play super recklessly, get called for zero fouls, and injure one of our dudes right before the tourney. I’d rather play Dook 3 times straight than play them once with how much is on the line.

These were basically my thoughts before our regular season matchup with them. Yet they seem to have held up over a very long season with their starters playing huge minutes. Our depth still provides an advantage, but it’s not that we can wear them down, it’s that they can’t wear us down.
This is key. I totally slept on his impact last time. Guy is a beast. Will be interesting to see how Odom schemes against him. He basically just drove into whoever was in front of him and knocked them out of the way. Maybe @Cuts_from_The_Corner has some ideas.
They also out rebounded us in that game 30-23, with a 12-4(!) advantage on the offensive glass. That will have to change in this game. Need to man up against Udeh.
Ultimately, I like our chances in this game as we have more weapons, more balanced scoring, and will likely improve on our rebounding performance from our last meeting. Hoos by six.
