For me, Proctor is the most important reasons these guys are now playing, IMO, at a final 4 level. Of course, a healthy Lively contributes, but Proctor is no longer playing like a talented high school senior who is mostly trying to stay out of the way of all the star power on the roster. He is showing that he can be the man when it is needed, and has become really aggressive.
Now, I didn’t see much of the Pitt game, but he was really impressive in every (offensive) phase of the game.

Little worried that Reece played 36 and 39 minutes the last two games. Because we pretty much need another 38 from him tonight. Let’s protect that man’s hamstring.
3 games in 3 days (or 4 in 4, or 5 in 5) is fun for fans and has that cool endurance factor but I wonder about injury risk.

Saying a first-round NCAA game is more important than the ACC Tournament championship is either an indication of how far the ACCT has fallen, or how warped our perspective has become.

It matters cause it’s MFing Duke. Losing a champ game to say Miami wouldn’t sting as much. Let’s just trust that the staff knows what it’s doing re injuries. I take it as a good sign that Reece is playing so many minutes and looking more explosive

Tonight is important for possible establishing Tony as the new king of the ACC.
Also I really want to beat Duke after all this media bullshit. And also because they are Duke. I would rather lose to the Chokies in the ACC title game than Duke because of the slobbering from the Media afterwards.

I agree fresh…this is one of those years I think the acc championship matters…without some tremendous matchups I don’t think we can expect to get to the ff…anything can happen but I don’t think we have a bucket getter this year…sooner or later that will hurt us
