Favorite courses for me just means favorite professors. I enjoyed my Classical Music History course with Mr. Velimirovic (he was a character), and my multiple philosophy classes with Mr. Cargile (Philosophy of Language was the best).

I met a guy who was a Geography major at Georgia. I think he’s a white water rafting guide now. I didn’t ask him what his degree program entailed.

I bet he has zero regrets

He would have intermission during his lecture to go smoke. Also loved to throw in some photos with him and modern day celebrities. Absolute baller.

Haha that’s very much on brand for him. Was a friend of the family and always enjoyed being around him.

History of American Foreign Policy (Leffler) with Coming of the Civil War (Ayers) a close second. But loved Colonial America (D. Alan Williams) and 19th Century South (Holt).

Mine are pretty professor based. Had a few that I would take anything they taught.

Anything with Jack Hamilton- sound and cinema, cultures of hip-hop, race and sound were the ones I took but I imagine he’s teaching different ones now.

Really liked Siva Vaidhyanathan classes as well

Intermediate macro with westerfield was good for a required class

Virginia Government and Politics (Sabato) (grad level seminar – about 12 students total).
