22 minutes per game

I think he’ll be in the rotation the first 5-6 games, but that’s his audition. If he comes out tentative, afraid to shoot, and misses when he does, he’ll be a spot player the rest of the way.
Whether he re-learns how to shoot. If he can shoot 36% he will play a ton
@GulfCoastHoo nailed it. He better be ready to play cause we have a lot of depth.(Don’t we?)
Yes
Just wanted reassurance that all of our new players are as good as i think.
Won’t know for sure till we see them play. But yeah in theory we are pretty deep with a good number of players who could play multiple positions. Excited to see how it comes together.
So am I
Depends on Dai Dai and Taine.
If Dai Dai becomes rotation guy alongside Bliss, then Warley moves to 3 and takes Rohde minutes.
Right now 7 man rotation is:
Warley
Bliss (since coaches love him)
iMac
Power
Saunders
Buchanan
Robinson
We usually run an 8 man rotation. Could be 9. So Dai Dai, Rohde and Taine are competing for those 1-2 spots.
Edit: you can swap dai dai and bliss here. One of them will definitely be rotation. One of them will be trying to crack it .
Taine will get minutes. He is too good of a shooter to not see minutes. He needs to up his volume
The dude that is a dark horse to me is Sharma. And yes i know he is a freshman and has to adapt. I cant project his minutes. But he is one of those rare HS guys whose shot you do not have to fix. He is not afraid to shoot and turns it loose at any opening. His accuracy is elite. Its rare to find that in an incoming freshman. What kind of freak makes 14 threes in a game at any level.
He was one of the top 3 point shooters in Kon’s class and when Kon went to Duke TB jumped all over Sharma. At the very least it will be interesting to see how this plays out.
There’s too much about Rohde’s game that Tony likes not to give him a chance to prove himself. He sure gave him a huge chance this year. Next year he has more options to replace him (one less with Elijah down), so he better put his best foot forward right away.
Driving range heroes! They are All-Americans until proven otherwise.
It will be interesting to see how the offseason S&C program benefits Rohde. i wondered last year if the defensive effort required to play the packline ground him down as the season progressed.
I agree. I think Rohde goes right or left - either comes back a new man, stronger and quicker, more confident, and a better shooter and stays firmly jn the rotation, or he is similar to LY and ends up as the 10th or 11th guy. I don’t see much room for middle ground with him. But we shall see.
I try to refrain from this but from what I saw last year I dont know what he could do to turn the proverbial corner. Its not just a matter of having made more threes. The near zero rebounding and shooting 1-2 FTS every third game playing 30 minutes game is kinda bafflig
People like saying he was good or great on defense. Quite simply no he was not
Having watched him at St Andrews maybe not all his fault as much as choice of the system he joined
Dont know
I’m genuinely still waiting for someone to explain away the fact that the team was almost as good with him on the floor as it was with iMac across the entire season. Especially because that was the metric that made Kadin Shedrick stand out.
Not trying to defend him I just want an answer. What does that mean? Nothing? Something?
I have no clue how to measure these things. Proly cause iMac played more minutes than were ideal for Imac.
But thats for Kenpalms
When I watched that didnt jump out to me and I watched a lot ha
