If only the camera turned just a bit to the right you’d see Dragon eyes wide open and unable to stop myself from laughing from the moment he took off. I swear you could see it in he’s eyes the moment he picked up his dribble he thought he was doing something great.

Yes. I was there about 3 rows up from the sideline (behind the UVa bench) with my wife and another couple. It was right in front of us and was a comically bad attempt at a dunk. My buddy (non UVa fan) just started laughing hysterically. Ga Tech guy absolutely stoned Groves. Groves body just stopped cold and then fell to earth : )
Groves took off from about the foul line. His arm was extended almost the entire time, and it really looked like he would have come up short anyway. Fortunately, he did drain a couple late 3s (along with iMac) to seal the game.
This was my wife (blonde hair, orange sweater) raising her arms in exultation after the iMac 3 to put the game away.

I was a few rows behind you and yes, it absolutely looked like Groves was ready to take off on the foul line and land on the restricted circle There was no way he was making it to the rim.
