They do when the ACC is a mediocre league, like it was last year.
It’s the same thing as dawg lol look I’m out on this. Please don’t tag me for the specific purpose of bringing up a topic I don’t like in the future. Perrantes 2.0 over whatever else y’all are talking about
Edit: sorry for being so pissy. My 1B sports team is the Boston Bruins so you can imagine the mood I’m in this morning
Mediocre teams, almost by definition, finish somewhere near the .500 mark. Virginia hasn’t come close to that since Coach Bennett’s first two years here.
If anyone at the PTO is reading this, alpha dawg is an entirely new term. Please don’t believe anything to the contrary. Look out for my line of “alpha dawg” merch. Barring that, look out for my “Ken Pom Shooting% greater than 22% dawg” line of merch, but then I have to cut in the Hokie…
Yeah, yeah, I mean, we could just avoid terms and use like efficiency numbers by period or whatever, but then people are gonna start talking injuries and we’ll eventually wind up in this discussion where if we look at the games when we were fully healthy and played against power 5 competition, then we should only look at the two Vegas games and the first half of Michigan and then we were like a final 4 caliber team if not natty winner, and honestly I get it, that’s a nicer thing to remember than finishing like mid 30s and losing in the first round on an absolute gut punch of a play, but I like to be somewhat of a turd stirrer sometimes.
And, I like to point out to folks that we, as Virginia basketball fans, really don’t have much about which to bitch. These are the “good ol’ days”! Of course, that “we” excludes that element who seeks self-validation in an external source like the performance of a sports’ team or a political party, but we don’t have anyone like that in this forum.
Georgetown and the BE beg to differ.
Not that I’m aware of… you can start that one.
Done! We can leave this one pure for Robinson discussion now.
I’m sorry. I thought this was the Anthony Robinson discussion. I must have walked into the wrong room.
You may want to avert your eyes from this classic film…
Underrated time capsule of the mid-'00s era.
Has better hair game than sheds
I don’t think I was averting my eyes from Olivia Wilde in that one.
Incidentally, Ms. Wilde’s mother lives in Cville (or used to) and was a congressional candidate (Fifth District) a few years back.
“It is going to be a movie, we are going to have a lot of success and work super hard.”
Just as long as Janet Leigh doesn’t appear in a shower scene!
That’s was a refreshing interview. Robinson’s attitude is another reason it’s good to have 1-2 of these project type of players on the roster. That hunger is contagious
