Similar to FIBA stuff for the college coaches.
FWIW, I’m pretty sure Lamar’s world record javelin throw will never be broken.
No chance. My man Lamar is the GOAT on many levels. Rapper, athlete, scholar and mentor to Wormser
A true Renaissance man
These are references to Revenge of the Nerds (1984) @JoeBoxley
Anyone making Revenge of the Nerds references should definitely not be playing pick-up (call-back)
Much obliged @HoozGotNext and yeah revenge of the nerd references are a one way ticket to pickle ball injuries @haney
Swim team is streaming the Orange-Blue intrasquad meet via Instagram, fwiw.
Jacquie at 247 will be covering.
She’s been instructed to capture as much video as she’s humanly capable of getting.
New zoning in Charlottesville may get those houses bought, bulldozed, and built up into something new whether it goes to Football or not. Not trying to start a zoning fight.
The way things are going in football, they could sell off part of the current stadium parking lot for condos and still have plenty of spaces left.
I have a feeling Leon Bond is gonna exceed all expectations. Just feels like he has the tools to contribute even when his outside shot isnt falling. I can see him getting starter minutes by January. His rise will come at the expense of Dunn PT. Id love to be wrong but I just dont see how Dunn fits in Tony’s offense. Obvious talent and future pro but I just have a weird feeling about him.
Im most excited to see Rohde and if he has trouble with the ACC bump.
If Dunn isn’t a “fit” in Tony’s offense then he’s not going to be a pro talent
Very interesting take about Dunn. What I *will say is that he came in as 3-star in terms of production value at that time and Bond did come in as a 4 star. So I’ll go with you that maybe Bond is a bit more refined at the moment, even if he hasn’t played a game yet. I hope Dunn *does impress though to atleast 8-10 points per game this year. Both he and Bond could be an interesting 1-2 punch at the 3-4 spots.
Just a reminder that their are allegations out there that Anthony Bennett, head coach of the Virginia Cavaliers, hates charity but that he could clear up these allegations with a charity exhibition (and stream)… and also stream the blue white game… for charity. That’s right; that’s why I want the blue-white game to be streamed. Solely for charity.
He will not dispute these allegations due to the humility pillar. You’re at a loss.
Duke posted a 9 min video of practice with officials. We need to be able to stream blue and white!!! (And rename it blue and orange!)
Not sure I agree. Dunn, based on last season’s efforts, would be more effective in an up tempo offense where he can run the floor and attack the basket in open court. That could work in the NBA.
If he develops a consistent perimeter shot, let’s say 37% from 3 point range, then he’d be more effective in Tony’s scheme.
I’m not surprised. It makes sense that the egregious bias by officials for Duke isn’t a coincidence. They have to put officials thru practice and coaching to train them on making all the calls for them, including phony fouls when they miss a shot, and to ignore traveling and Duke fouls. I imagine they have to run laps if a foul isn’t called when Duke misses a shot.
Yep. And always the threat of not being invited back to overrated Cameron not to be confused with an Outdoor stadium of course
