Bracket matrix still has seton hall in and above us but imagine we need to wait on morning updates. Also this guy might be a uva fan, he was openly griping about UVa FT shooting last night ha

Diarra was cramping up yesterday. Can count on at least him and Burns being fatigued

I think we will run to really take advantage of their legs

Really wish we somehow got to play before UNC-Pitt. Obviously if we lose we want UNC to win. But if we make the final I’d rather play Pitt and have the better shot at the auto bid

I don’t even think we’ll move up in the pecking order after yesterday’s results. If we lose tonight and teams like New Mexico and Texas AM, I think we may be out. It would be absurd but could see it

Not sure anyone in the ACC, other than maybe UNC, has looked as good as Pitt the last month or so.

Best if UNC wins either way you look at it IMO. Don’t want Pitt to improve their resume (or get an autobid). Also, we didn’t match up well against Pitt.

So assuming the W last night got us into the field of 68, would a W tonight keep us out of Dayton?

Well no but those are the two options lol I don’t like the matchup against UNC at all

If we make the final I’m not worried about Pitt improving their resume. They aren’t leaving out a 24 win ACC team with a top 30 SOR. I’d welcome an ACC bid thief stealing one from another conference if we were to slip up in a final against Pitt

I think UNC is a worse matchup for us. Pitt at least doesn’t have a dominant big or an Ingram type we’ll struggle to keep off the glass at the 4

Not worried about Pitt. Non con will kill them, weak non con schedule with really no good wins and lost to Florida and Mizzo.

We did our most damage last night when we attacked before BC could set its defense. Always in spurts, but Beekman was ready when he had a wingman or three.

Some of the teams ahead of us do not make sense
Just crazy

The latter is the big one. Mizzou went 0-19 vs. the SEC. That’s bad, right?

Wonder how much it’s hurting that we “only” have two Q1 wins (Florida, at Clemson), even with our relative dominance of Q2 (8-3, we’ll see if that continues tonight) and unblemished record against Q3/Q4? BC finished at NET 80, so close to becoming a third Q1 win for us.

Anyone know the highest SOR to be left out of the field? Currently at 25 but not sure if that’s updated to include yesterday’s results

Seems like a lot of our Q2 wins are almost Q1. Meanwhile Big East and MWC teams are beating similar bubble teams and getting Q1 wins. I simply do not believe that the Seton Halls of the world are any better than NC State type teams

These dudes are just annoying. Palm has had us as a 10 for a while but swapped us out for St Johns and now sends us to Dayton

I honestly think we lost ground yesterday. Pretty much everyone won, some against Q1 teams, and we barely beat a Q2. It was a net negative day but obviously could have been a season ending day

When does the committee start meeting and picking teams? If that’s already been happening then I think these final days aren’t as impactful as ESPN leads us to believe. Is the committee going to like Team A over Team B then the next day flip because a few quad records changed slightly?
