Yep heâs total contradicting himself. If he thinks we need to win the tourney we should be first or next 4 out.
Maybe he means to âseal a bidâ when it comes to us? Idk very strange.
In context, I think he meant something like that (âthe only way UVA can win a (âbid-sealingâ) Q1 game is by beating Carolina in the final, everyone else can do it tonightâ) but fumbled the statement badly.
F all those mofos
The wolfâs will certainly have tired legs tonight, we saw how tired bc looked in the last 10 minutes of play last night as they played chase the mover for 29 seconds per possession last night
I expect the same outcome. Burns will feast on pizzas all day and Diare wonât be able to eat
Should be a resounding Win tonight so we can collectively flip off these pundits!
Would be really awkward if they were roommates
Exactly itâs bullshit. In years past when teams get hot at the end of the year and passed the âeye testâ they still didnât get into the tournament (see Clemson last year), but *this year because itâs Uva, the eye test should be a part of the equation even though weâve won MANY Quad 1+2 games, donât have any bad losses in Quadrants 3 or 4. They are now trying to associate the # of points scored/beaten in losses as such a big determining factor.
I could make the case for us to be in front of a number of these schools allegedly in front of us. It depends on what the committee values. A couple of those schools have Q3 and Q4 losses, we do not. One has a terrible SOS, and some have fewer Q1/Q2 wins. I think weâre going to be surprised at how safely we are in the field. Itâs schools like Oklahoma whose assholes should be puckers.
As best I can tell in trying to follow some of these bracketology guys is that they believe weâre likely going to be in the tournament based on the factors that most influence the selection of teams (Q1/Q2 wins, no bad losses, SOR, etc.) but that when it comes to seeding weâre probably going to end up in Dayton based on the computer metrics, which are poor for us because of all the blowout losses. Itâs all a big fucking joke.
Seton Hallâs Net would be the lowest at large ever I think. Maybe Rutgers was worse a few years back? net in the 60s is not a good sign for at large inclusion.
I canât shake the feeling that we might be in trouble. https://131sports.com/, the 2nd most accurate bracketologist on bracket matrix, has us as the last team in for todayâs update, with Pittsburgh, Texas A&M, and Providence right behind.
That tells me even if we win tonight, those other teams could jump us by getting better wins. Likewise if we lose, we could drop by taking a worse lost even if everyone else loses
I canât fathom our resume not getting in, but the bubble is strong this year I guess
Unless A&M wins the SEC tournament, how do you put them in ahead of us considering we actually played and defeated them?
Not to mention the q3 losses lol
Wonât be 2nd this year lol
I suspect Burns also joins in on Diarraâs post sundown meals because heâs such a good friend and very culturally and religiously sensitive
âItâs amazing to see how much hate weâre getting on social media for being included in the field. I kind of like us playing the villain role this tournament.â
It will be that much more delightful if we could actually win a few games in the tourney : )
Go HOOS. Beat NCSt
From JBRâs latest:
-Michigan State, Virginia, Colorado all very safe after last night. Either one win today or 3+ losses from the 7 teams below them playing today would lock them in

Not only are we in, but weâll be a higher seed than most of the talking-heads media thinkâŠ
I agree. Think the Big 12 is going to be surprised.
Is there a rooting guide for UVA fans anywhere?
Yeah, here: root against NC state
