The vanilla, hesitant-to-say-anything style of these chat AIs is almost the exact opposite of sports forum commenters. You’re supposed to confidently declare that Elijah is transferring, Dante is playing 35 mpg next year, and Tony is terrible at lineups. No one comes on a forum and says “I can’t say anything definitive, as outcomes can always change and depend on various factors.”

They need to train the AI specifically on sports forum comments. That’s an AI I’d pay to see.

That’s promptable. This is what I got out of it with just one framing prompt:
