HGN, with somebody like Jaydon Smith from Greensboro Day who you mentioned a while back, is there any contact allowed this early since he is still class of 2023? Was wondering how things play out in those situations where a reclass is expected but there’s all the rules about who you can contact and when.

Interested yep. I don’t think they’re about to offer. You can see with 2021 how hesitant they are to recruit players without evaluating in person. Others are gonna toss out those trophies. Bennett won’t. Hand’s gonna be really good though. One scout told he thinks DJ is the best player in VA when it’s over.

I thought Taylor was more of a fan favorite but the staff wasn’t that far along with him and preferred McKneely? Maybe just my perception
I think you and HGN talked about it earlier in the thread but one of the questions I am waiting to see is if they take a pure pg or see McKneely as a pg prospect. Or take another guard in addition to pushing for him like Tre Holloman or Rodney Rice or Dug McDaniel

I was on the same boat but i saw on 247 that the mod over there reported that he should get the next offer after McKneely.

I mentioned it before there are offers that have been approved. That’s why we’ve kept expecting them to be made. But apparently there’s still some 2021 possibilities that could change things. So they’ll hold on until either that’s cleared up or it can’t be delayed any longer.
