The Athletic is doing that series with a bunch of programs. It’d probably be better if they just did ten best. I don’t think any of us need to read about Jamil Tucker or Jon Brandenburg anymore.

I’ve wanted to read that article for a couple days now, it keeps popping up in my news feed, but I don’t subscribe to the Athletic. I think there was a reason behind that at one point, but I can’t remember any more.

Oh man without looking at it the 2016 class should take the top 4 spots. Guy, Jerome, Mamadi, Huff, Hunter. Joey Hoops, Malcolm, JA, Mike Scott, London, and and Kihei proving to be the steal of the draft so to speak.

I think he ran out of ideas and put Morsell on there… wasn’t a fan of the worst 5.

Gotcha I mean that makes sense. I mean it’s not a hard list to pull if you go 08ish to present. Hell if you go 00 to present it’s not difficult if we’re being honest.

Still hoping to get more responses from these kids before writing anything. So far only a few answered. Isaac McKneely went above and beyond the one line I asked for. Will trim it down in the blog, but here’s his full reply.

“Tony told me that he knew I had a long day, so we only talked for about 10 minutes, but it was still a really good conversation. He was telling me how much I meant to him, and that they’re going to recruit me hard. My thoughts on UVA so far are great, I really love what they have to offer, and it’s a really good school, they fit my play style, and I like the coaching staff, there’s a lot to like about this program”

Knowing nothing else outside the highlight videos on youtube, especially since we have no idea who will be on the team at that point…

Sign me up for Rodney Rice and Collin Smith two ballers. We throw the DeAndre Hunter comparison out a lot for recruiting (Trey Murphy is more of a Cam Reddish/Cameron Johnson type). But Collin Smith SCREAMS Dre. And Rodney Rice doesn’t have the build of Trevor but they look awfully similar in game on the film available

If an extra opening pops up take a combo like McKneely or take Justin taylor and a combo in the 2021 class who is open to redshirt. #myunrealisticnoneducatedrecruiting predictions
